Diamond Assets, one of the nation’s largest and most-trusted technology buyback partners serving schools, businesses, and government agencies, announced that it has hired James K. “Jim” Lindsay as its Vice President of Business Development – Education.

At Diamond Assets, Lindsay will lead a team responsible for the sourcing and procurement of the company’s products and distribution services throughout the U.S. He is a recognized leader with strengths in communication and a track record of success in education sales.

He researched, coordinated, responded to, and won the largest RFPs and grants in company history, which served countless students across the country. His expertise was regularly tapped to present grant-writing workshops and other professional development sessions to customers.

Lindsay started his career as a teacher and an instructional specialist, so his knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in the nation’s classrooms comes a variety of perspectives throughout the education market. “I’m excited to power forward critical conversations around sustainable technology plans for school districts across the U.S.,” shared Lindsay. “Keeping up with the pace of innovation in the classroom, addressing technology inequities, and responsibly upcycling and recycling outdated devices are increasingly important topics for education clients. Diamond Assets is the finest partner in the market to address the technology lifecycle.”
