Investing in a Tech Upgrade for your Business? Clarity’s Newest Feature Can Help

New Apple devices are coming soon – is your business ready to upgrade to remain competitive?

With inflation impacting tech planning, many businesses may be more likely to explore options to offset the investment of an updated device fleet.

That’s where Diamond Assets comes in. We provide businesses with tailored demand sourcing solutions to recoup and reinvest vital money into the latest Apple technology.

Our experienced team conducts a thorough assessment of business clients’ current tech fleet and develop a long-term sustainable technology plan that defines what technology to purchase, the ideal usage, when to sell them to achieve maximum resale value, and how to fund ongoing reinvestment of technology – all to give businesses the most tech bang for their buck.

Strategic MDM Partnerships – and Beyond

To provide the ultimate tech buyback experience for businesses, last year Diamond Assets secured strategic MDM partnerships with Kandji, Mosyle, and most significantly, Jamf, providing our business clients access to Diamond Assets’ Clarity portal integrated with these MDM’s industry-leading technology management tools.

The integrated platform empowers companies with a comprehensive real-time visual dashboard to enable informed decisions about their technology ecosystems. This move allows business clients to simplify and accelerate Apple device upgrade planning with a faster, easy-to-use, and more accurate decision-making tool.

But not every enterprise customer has a pre-existing relationship with an MDM. Thanks to our new Clarity import feature, we now have every business covered that needs real-time valuation of the devices in their fleet – whether you use an MDM or not!

Streamline Asset Management with Clarity

Business customers that have pre-existing MDM partnerships with Kandji, Jamf, or Mosyle witnessed a smooth integration last year with Diamond Assets’ Clarity platform.

What about businesses that don’t have an existing relationship and want to easily value their existing tech fleet? Or, if you need to integrate data from multiple MDM systems or account for devices no longer tracked by an MDM?

That’s why we created our new spreadsheet upload enhancement, Clarity Device Import, which can provide a comprehensive view of your fleet – MDM partnership or not. Any of our enterprise clients can easily download the pre-formatted Excel spreadsheet template from the platform, organize data from either existing MDM systems or other sources, and upload it back into Clarity to gain real-time insights into the value and status of all equipment.

The best part: this process works seamlessly alongside our MDM integrations, ensuring all business clients have a full picture of their entire fleet, even if your MDM isn’t listed on our integration page.

All customers need to do to use this feature is to provide specific information for each Apple device in their fleet – from iPads to MacBooks to iPhones to iMacs – in the spreadsheet template downloaded from Clarity, including:

  • Device serial number
  • The descriptive name assigned to the device by an MDM (if applicable)
  • Apple’s model identifier (e.g. Mac 14.9)
  • The storage capacity of the device, specified in GB or TB
  • The processor family (specific to Macs, e.g. Core i7)
  • The memory configuration of your device (specific to Macs)
  • Indicate whether the device had cellular capability

Clarity’s New Import Feature Benefits All Businesses

With Clarity’s new import enhancement, customers can now toggle back and forth between different MDMs and have a real-time view of pricing, specs, value, and average age of devices.

Further, devices within and outside of an MDM can also be uploaded to receive valuation before decommissioning devices – allowing business customers to leverage the power of Clarity with and without having MDM integrated devices.

Business customers without an MDM integration can download the needed data from Apple Business Manager as an Excel doc, which can then be imported into Clarity – allowing for a quote that’s built more accurately and quickly for enterprise customers.

As the depreciation cycle accelerates amid Apple’s continued evolution in devices – the latest example being Apple’s announcement last year that company-designed Apple Silicon chips would be the new standard for their products – having this unparalleled access into device values means businesses can further maximize their return-on-investment as they look to invest in a new fleet in 2025!

Don’t Delay – connect with our team today to discover how Diamond Assets can partner with your business to make your 2025 tech upgrade as cost effective and streamlined as possible through our supercharged latest Clarity portal import feature!
