Military Veteran Offers Supply Chain, Operational Expertise

MILTON, Wis. (Aug. 16, 2022)Diamond Assets, one of the nation’s largest and most-trusted technology buyback partners serving schools, businesses, and government agencies, announced that it has hired Rickey D. Betts as its Director Of Business Development – Enterprise.

At Diamond Assets, Betts will be responsible for developing new business clients to source aging Apple equipment from within the enterprise segment.

Betts is a former non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, working in its supply chain division, and was trained in the Military Leadership Development Academy.

Prior to joining Diamond Assets, Betts worked as an independent supply chain consultant for RDB Consulting. There, he worked negotiated multi-year contracts on key commodities and established aggressive inventory reduction goals to improve cash flow.

He also has experience as the vice president of supply chain and operations for CompuCom Systems, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the operations, including procurement, strategic planning, logistics management, refurbishment, and integration center operations. His efforts resulted in a 46 percent improvement in inventory levels.

Betts has experience working with Fortune 500 clients throughout North America, and leading large teams of supply chain professionals. He began his career managing a program supporting more than 300,000 devices. He has experience implementing material management efforts that reduce waste and improve efficiency.
